I will definitely remember President's Day this year as well….especially since it was spent in the ER….ugh!
Poor husband tripped over a shoe coming down the stairs. With his arms full, he couldn't catch himself and ended up with a torn meniscus and ACL in his knee, and the worst sprained ankle/foot I've ever seen.
Surgery will help fix the knee. Patience and time will heal the foot :(
Serious bummer.
On the bright side, I'm improving on my driving skills since I have to drive him everywhere now!
Haha. Kidding. There hasn't really been a bright side to this…except we are VERY grateful it wasn't worse. And maybe that he will now always remember to use the handrail for the rest of his life :)
